The lecture performance based on my attempts to shoot a dalit anti caste protest
'Azaadi koonch' (march for freedom) that was organised in 2017, on the first year
anniversary of the Chalo Una (let's march to Una) protest rally. This attempt to shoot and participating in this rally helped trigger the project I am currently undertaking. In this lecture performance I talk about my own failiures in shooting the protest, and try to
describe my research questions through using footage from this particular shoot.
The same has been presented in various places including at Radical Film Network Meeting in Berlin in 2019, and at Gaite Lyrique in 2018.
